InfGom was built on a single belief: that real human stories — messy, unresolved, imperfect — are the most powerful things on the internet. Not tutorials. Not listicles. Stories. The kind that make you close your laptop and sit quietly for a minute.
We exist because we got tired of reading content that felt manufactured. Every story published on this site comes from a real place: a real person, a real event, a real reckoning with life. Our editorial team reads every submission and works closely with contributors to make sure nothing gets lost in the editing.
We publish narrative non-fiction in six categories: Love, Survival, Family, Resilience, Courage, and Connection. We look for stories that are specific — proper nouns, sensory details, a moment that crystallizes a larger truth. We do not publish content that relies on generalization about human experience. We want the particular, not the universal.
We accept submissions from writers and non-writers alike. If you have a true story to tell — something that happened to you, someone you loved, or something you witnessed — we want to read it. Head to our contact page and send us a pitch or a draft.
InfGom is run by a small team of writers and editors who share one quality: an inability to stop reading personal essays at 1 AM. We believe attention paid to a single human life is never wasted.
